Git change branch tomcat1/18/2024 ![]() Now, whatever operations you do, they will log inside the prod branch since now you have separated yourself from the master. We have successfully switched the branch from master to prod. Switch to the " prod" by executing the command:Īnd here you go. In the following steps, we will try to switch the branch from master to prod.Ĭheck the branch you are currently on, which is visible alongside the directory name. Switching the branches is a very frequent operation, so it stands quite essential for us too. Moreover, we should know how to work on each of them separately. Since we are dealing with multiple branches, it is essential to know how to switch between these branches. The Branch dropdown shows that the new branch is added and synced in the GitHub remote repository successfully. Let's confirm it once again on our GitHub account. This message shows that our branch is all set up and tracked. Note: The -u flag adds the tracking reference for the prod branch so that your upcoming pushes do not require any extra arguments, and the local branch links to the remote branch. Use the following command to update the local branch on the GitHub repository. Now that we have created the branch on the local machine, we need to reflect the same on the remote repository. How to Push Local Branch To Remote Repository? So, let's try the same thing here and see if it works or not. I navigate to my account and check the number of branches in the " Branch" dropdown.ĭamn! I still have the previously created branches, and the new branch that I created locally ( prod) is yet not synced here.īy this, I assume that creating a new branch is a change made to the repository like any other change, so I need to push our changes to the remote repository through git push command. Check that out on the previous image where " master" owns the star.Īs we might assume, the new branch must also reflect on our GitHub account with a new branch added to the list of the branches. Let's check that out. The star means the current branch on which we are currently on. Notice the " *" in front of the " dev" branch. Note: The creation of our branch in the local working directory is now complete. Now check the branches on the local system by typing the git branch command again: We will see an alternate way later in this tutorial. It is the initial and simpler way to create a branch in Git. Type the following command to create a new branch named " prod" ( short for production). Let's create a new branch now in our local working repository. The local branches are the same as shown in the previous section, i.e., " master". Open Git Bash and navigate to the local working repository. Type the following command to view all of your branches. ![]() But, before starting, ensure you have a clean working directory ( nothing to commit) by running the git status command. How to Create a Local Branch in Git?Ĭreating branches in Git is a simple step-by-step process. We will keep checking from time to time to show the user all the available branches. As we create more branches in the next section, we will reflect them here. In the highlighted red color, one more branch can be seen, which is the " dev" branch. Since we have the master branch, only the master branch displays in the output. To check all the branches ( including remote branches), type the following commands:Įxecuting the command lists all the branches, as shown below: How To View Remote Branches In Git?Įxecuting the git branch without any flag shows only those branches that are available locally. ![]() Once you clone the repository to your local machine, all the branches will be visible through this command. We can view all the local branches by a simple command: Viewing the branches helps us keep a check on the synchronization between the remote and the local repositories. Creating and Switching a branch in the single git commandīefore we go ahead to create the branches on our local system, we need to learn how to view existing branches locally and over the remote repository. How to push a local branch to the remote repository?.The foremost choice of the developers is to Create Branch in Git through the console/terminal on the local machine and pushing those changes to the remote repository on GitHub. Although in the real-world scenarios, creating branches directly through GitHub is not the primary choice for creating the branches. Branches can create through remote GitHub repository directly or through Git on our local system. It gave us a general overview of the concepts of branches. In the last tutorial, we discussed what are branches in Git. ![]()

Kill team compendium 2021 pdf download1/18/2024 ![]() ![]() Running the Sniper Specialism and pairing with a Comms Specialist is one way to improve your odds but it’s costly (in terms of model and CP investment) and those 2s will still waste an activation. ![]() While the D6 damage is great, having only one shot in a world where you often shoot at a -2 penalty is quite risky. Meltaguns are not a weapon you see a lot of in Kill Team (unless you count fusion pistols).Flamers are not only a thematic choice for Sisters but they get a neat supporting tactic for them (see below). Alternatively, go with the Veteran specialism to close range quicker. A Demolitions specialist with Flamer/Heavy Flamer can be quite a scary thing. Flamers are great in Kill Team since they auto-hit, negating long-range and obscuring penalties, and whether you go regular or heavy will largely depend on whether your opponent is primarily fielding T3 or T4 models.Sisters get quite a few options here including two flamer variants, meltaguns, storm bolters and heavy bolters. Like most troops, Battle Sisters get access to two gunners who can take special and heavy weapons. That’s an actual enemy model she just roasted. I would always expect to include a Battle Sister with a Simulacrum on my team, likely running either the Comms or Medic specialism to buff either my main shooter or fighter.īattle Sister Gunner with Flamer. This upgrades Shield of Faith saves from a 6++ to 5++, which is awesome. The one upgrade available to Battle Sisters is the Simulacrum Imperialis. I can’t imagine a situation where you’d want to waste your Zealot slot on a Battle Sister. Given the other options available to Sisters, you’re unlikely to field many, if any, basic Sisters in a typical team unless you just really need bodies (since they are your cheapest model option).īattle Sisters get access to a whole slew of specialisms but Comms, Medic, and Veteran are likely the three you’ll use most often on basic Sisters. Looking at this another way, a bog-standard Battle Sister costs almost twice as much as a Guardsman, but sports a much better save and +1S on her gun. ![]() Compared to the lowly Tactical Marine, they have one less Toughness and Strength and correspondingly only cost 75% as much (meaning that for every 3 Tactical Marines you field, you could field 4 Battle Sisters). The basic Battle Sisters sport a boltgun and the standard T3/S3/3+ profile common across Sisters. Credit: Games Workshop Battle Sister Basic Troops Guess which of these models you’re going to want in all of your Kill Teams. ![]() Oh cool, a special rule named the same as an existing specialism. This is obviously very useful and should be a clue that your Zealot or Combat specialists should probably one of these two datasheets. Zealot: Shared by Sisters Repentia and Arco-Flagellants, this ability grants models full hit re-rolls when charging or when charged. The 6++ is fine, but won’t often come into play in a game where plasma is the thing you’re often scared of as a power armour user. Shield of Faith: Battle Sisters and Sisters Repentia both share this ability that grants models a 6+ invulnerable save plus a 1D6 Deny attempt. On the plus side, this is one less decision to make when building your roster, so there’s that. Really, GW? You release rules for Sisters in a post-Elites world but don’t include rules for the various major orders? grumblegrumblegrumble At the same time, they don’t have quite the robust stat-line of Marines so they fall into a similar camp as Ad Mech in that they have to play somewhere in between hordes and elites and adapt to every game. Sort of in Between: Like Ad Mech or Space Marines, Sisters don’t have spammable 5-7 point bodies, with their lowest-priced model sitting at 9 points. The tactics they have are decent to good but they could really use more. Limited Tactics: Discounting Commander tactics (which I do), Sisters only get 4 tactics, which is just not a lot. Lack of Long Range Firepower: Aside from a single heavy bolter, you don’t really have any long-range options, meaning your T3 models are going to spend a lot of their time in charge range. Versatile: While limited in options, Sisters have both shooting and combat strength and answers to both elites and hordes, so you can adapt to different match-ups nicely. Beautiful Models: The Sisters range is the newest plastic model range around and the models are fantastic! Fielding a Sisters Kill Team today probably means using the models from the new Army Set and they are a real joy to build and paint.ĭecent Board Control: A reasonably equipped Sisters Kill Team will be fielding 7-8 models, which gives you good board control in both 3D and Arena games compared to “elite” teams, while also being quite a bit more survivable than “horde” teams. ![]()

Easy mint julep recipe1/18/2024 ![]() ![]() We like Woodford Reserve, Bullit, Angels Envy, or Maker’s Mark! Love bourbon cocktails? You HAVE to try my Old Fashioned Cocktail or my Irish Mule. Lastly, make sure you have some good bourbon on hand. Here’s the one we have and love – this makes a great gift. I also like to mix the mint, bourbon, and syrup together in a glass cocktail pitcher before pouring into the glasses. Use different types of mint such as peppermint or chocolate mint. Add fruit or herbs such as strawberries, raspberries, and basil. Use flavored syrups such as honey or maple syrup in place of simple syrup to sweeten the drink. You’ll want to use a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the oils in the mint. Bourbon Crushed ice Recipe Variations Swap bourbon for another spirit such as rum, gin, or brandy. Add the Bourbon and pack tightly with crushed ice. Mint julep glasses sure are fun! They aren’t entirely necessary, but there’s something about the pretty little goblets. Instructions In a Julep cup, lightly muddle the syrup and mint. If you don’t have crushed ice, add ice cubes to a bag and smash with a rolling pin or meat cleaver. Serving this over crushed ice is not only texturally pleasing, but it cuts the bourbon and sweetness of the sugar making the perfect consistency and flavor. If you’ve got mint growing like crazy – this is the recipe for you! I found that at least 8 large mint leaves for each cocktail was perfect. You have to use a lot of fresh mint when muddling. All you have to do is add mint leaves to sugar and water on the stove and let it infuse. Garnish with a plump mint sprig and serve with a straw. ![]() 5 oz simple syrup (1:1 sugar:water) 4-6 fresh mint leaves Equipment Julep cup Muddler Bar spoon Straw Instructions Measure and combine simple syrup and mint into a julep cup and muddle.

Comminuted odontoid fracture type 11/18/2024 ![]() The dens acts as a pivot that allows the atlas and attached head to rotate on the axis, side to side. The atlanto-occipital joint allows the head to nod up and down on the vertebral column. ![]() They are responsible for the nodding and rotation movements of the head. The atlas and axis are specialized to allow a greater range of motion than normal vertebrae. The atlas is the topmost vertebra and the axis (the vertebra below it) forms the joint connecting the skull and spine. Scholars believe that by switching the designation atlas from the seventh to the first cervical vertebra Renaissance anatomists were commenting that the point of man’s burden had shifted from his shoulders to his head-that man’s true burden was not a physical load, but rather, his mind. Sometime around 1522, anatomists decided to call the first cervical vertebra the atlas. Ancient depictions of Atlas show the globe of the heavens resting at the base of his neck, on C7. ![]() In Greek mythology, Atlas was condemned to bear the weight of the heavens as punishment for rebelling against Zeus. ![]() However, the term atlas was first used by the ancient Romans for the seventh cervical vertebra (C7) due its suitability for supporting burdens. The bone is named for Atlas of Greek mythology, for just as Atlas bore the weight of the heavens, the first cervical vertebra supports the head. In anatomy, the atlas (C1) is the most superior (first) cervical vertebra of the spine and is located in the neck. ![]()

Images of clawdeen wolf1/17/2024 ![]() Clawdeen has shown to be very persistent, after Bloodgood didn't allow Clawdeen in the school because she was human, the girl tried many ways to get enrolled (mostly by disguising herself as a monster). Suddenly, Clawdeen hits in what seems to be an invisible wall, but the necklace is able to show her that there is a gate behind it.Įven before discovering she was half-werewolf, Clawdeen had been a monster fangirl since childhood. ![]() She faces many obstacles in her way, but she surpasses them with success while a creature is following her. Then, her moon claw necklace starts sparkling and, both the necklace and voice signal her to go into the woods although reluctant at first, Clawdeen goes in. Suddenly, Clawdeen hears a voice calling her name according to Clawdeen herself, she'd been hearing her entire life. Although their uncommon interests are almost the same to Clawdeen's, these kids often bully her, calling her a "monster girl". She then crosses paths with Blair, Raine and Buddy, a trio of goth teenagers who "talk" to ghosts, who are, at the moment, trying to contact the ghost of their deceased fish. Once in the cemetery, Clawdeen tried to find some monsters, but has no luck. Before Clawdeen left, she was gifted the Moon-claw Talisman by her father. Git rename branch master to main1/17/2024 ![]() ![]() GitHub has added user, organization, and enterprise settings so developers can set the default branch name for all newly created repositories. GitHub pages have been updated to deploy from any branch. links that contain the deleted branch name “master” are already redirecting to “main.” Other than the change in terminology, how will this directly impact you? Let’s take a look.įirst, GitHub has already implemented the following changes: SEE: Implementing DevOps: A guide for IT pros (free PDF) (TechRepublic) What developers need to know about this GitHub change That means change is going to be global and project-wide. GitHub is used by millions of developers, some of them working alone, but many of them working together.
